The Role We require an experienced Well Services Supervisor to provide well intervention planning and execution support to all of our clients Installations in the UK and Norway. This job is a contract role and will be for a period of 6 months initially with the prospect of an extension thereafter. The position will be based onshore in Aberdeen with offshore support as required and with some occasional travel to the Norway Office. There may also be also opportunities for providing well intervention support to other locations worldwide.
Reports to Well Services Superintendent
Job Description - Application of Safety Management System across all Well Intervention work.
- Planning of all Well Intervention work to include liaison with our client’s Service Companies.
- Provision of Well Intervention Technical Support to the Subsurface Engineering and Operations Groups.
- Support the safe execution of well intervention work on any of our client’s Installations.
- Support the Subsurface Engineering Group in maintaining the integrity and safe operation of all Wells.
- Provide Technical Support to our client’s Global Functional Organisation
Qualifications Full City and Guilds Certificate or ONC / HNC in an Engineering Discipline. Well Control Certification.
Knowledge and Experience Well services experience with an Operator or Major Service Company. Field experience should ideally include wireline work, coil tubing, well stimulation, well completions, well maintenance and subsea operations.
