Our client, a leading renewable energy organisation is currently looking to recruit an Installation Manager to be based at company headquarters in Edinburgh. As Installation Manager, the successful individual will deploy their offshore construction expertise to enable the development, design, installation and commissioning of marine energy devices. They will be responsible for reviewing internal & external design documents and methodology studies with a strong focus upon installation documents. Moreover, the successful candidate will be responsible for the drafting of new documents where appropriate, as well as being accountable for organisation and management of all offshore representatives. This will ensure a smooth installation phase by phase, resulting from extensive and early planning the Installation Manager has undertaken.
As such, the selected candidate will be a talented Engineer with experience of managing installation of heavy engineering technology in off-shore environments. They will have strong contract management experience as well as being a diligent communicator and will have the ability to overcome problems efficiently and creatively.
